01 · The Mission
We train high-schoolers to see a broken world clearly,
and to build their answer to it.
The Center for Innovation at Delaware County Christian School exists to foster redemptive impact through innovative education. We pursue work that mends — technology as stewardship, not conquest — and we equip students to do the same.
THE SCHOOL
Delaware County Christian School
A 75-year-old college-prep Christian school in Newtown Square, PA, serving Pre-K2 through 12th grade. The school’s mission is to educate students who will serve God and impact the world through biblical thought and action.
THE CENTER
Why an Innovation Center
The world our students are inheriting is being remade by tools, markets, and ideas faster than any prior generation. The Center exists so DCCS graduates don’t just consume that change — they shape it, with craft and conscience intact.
02 · OUR SEVEN
Seven core values, in plain English.
01
Wonder What If.
Living with posture of wonder toward God and creation — the imagination that asks what could be.
02
Find a Way.
Using design thinking to solve problems — the discipline of pursuing real solutions, not just clean answers.
03
Do the Thing.
Overcoming challenges with determination — grit, the bridge between an idea and a working artifact.
04
Lay the Stones.
Joy-filled collaboration to serve others — the patient labor of building community alongside building work.
05
Do Hard Things.
Endeavoring boldly, with confidence in God's sovereignty — taking on what is hard, not just what is convenient.
06
Sharpen the Ax.
A growth mindset for continuous improvement — the willingness to refine craft, posture, and tools.
07
Be Israel.
Working out salvation with fear and trembling — faithfulness as the long arc that sustains everything else.
